Greece Race for the Cure returns: Registration for 2026 is now open
The Greece Race for the Cure®, the major athletic and social event for breast cancer awareness, is making a dynamic return for its 18th consecutive year. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2026.
As announced, Pedion tou Areos in Athens will once again serve as the central starting point for thousands of runners and walkers. This race is one of the most important institutions in our country, as it combines sports with support for women fighting against the disease.
The organizers have officially announced that the registration process has already begun. Interested participants can register through the event's website, choosing between the race or the traditional walk, depending on their preference.
Participation in the Race for the Cure is not just an athletic activity, but an act of solidarity. The proceeds from registrations significantly support the initiatives of the Panhellenic Association of Women with Breast Cancer "Alma Zois," offering help to thousands of patients and their families.
With its return to Pedion tou Areos, the Greece Race for the Cure is expected to gather a large crowd again this year, sending a powerful message of hope and prevention throughout Greece.
