New initiatives for health innovation in Greece
The Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, recently spoke at the 16th conference on the future of healthcare in Greece. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of innovation for the national health system and the government's efforts to improve services for citizens.
One of the main topics discussed was the "clawback," a mechanism for pharmaceutical companies to return money to the state when spending exceeds the budget. Although this amount remains high, the Minister explained that steps are being taken to find a balance that will allow for the development of new drugs.
