Significant technology sector partnership in Greece
A new significant partnership in the Greek technology sector was recently announced. The startup Pollux Tech, which operates in the deep-tech sector, has chosen the company Prisma Electronics to manufacture its first prototypes.
The product to be manufactured is the "Autonomous System of Overboard Safety" (ASOS). It is an innovative autonomous system designed for maritime safety. The system's goal is to immediately detect incidents of people falling into the water, offering a solution for the protection of human life.
Prisma Electronics, a company with experience in the production of electronic systems, is undertaking the manufacturing of these first prototypes. This collaboration represents a significant step for Pollux Tech, as it allows the company to move from the design phase to the implementation of the system.
The development of such technological solutions strengthens Greece's presence in the field of maritime technology. The success of ASOS could offer significant benefits for safety on ships and in maritime transport in the future.
