In addition to the weather conditions, changes were also announced regarding the hierarchy's compensation, as the Church of Greece released details on the salaries of Titular and Assistant Bishops (clergy who hold the title but do not govern a diocese). Following public reactions, it was clarified that these specific bishops will receive 70% of the amount set for active Metropolitans. It is noted that no additional allowance or benefit will be paid to them beyond this fixed amount.
