New hero and major changes to Overwatch announced at BlizzCon 2026
Blizzard officially announced upcoming changes for the popular game Overwatch during BlizzCon 2026. The most significant news for players worldwide, including the Greek gaming community, is the addition of a new character to the support hero category.
The new hero is named "Doctrine" and has a unique appearance, as he is a vampire. According to the creators, this character has been designed to offer a combination of high damage to opponents and simultaneous healing for his team, providing new strategic possibilities in the game.
The game's developers emphasized that Doctrine requires a high level of skill from the player, as his mechanics are quite complex. This means that players will need to dedicate time to properly learn his moves and use him effectively in battle.
In addition to the new hero, Blizzard announced that other major changes will be made to Overwatch, which aim to improve the game's balance. These changes are expected to renew user interest and make matches more competitive.
Fans of the game in Greece are eagerly awaiting the official release of the content. These updates are part of the company's effort to keep Overwatch at the top of players' preferences for years to come.
