Significant success for Salamis Shipyards: Delivery of sections for French frigates
A significant moment for the Greek shipbuilding industry took place at the end of August, as Salamis Shipyards completed and delivered four more equipped sections on behalf of the French Navy.
These specific sections are intended for the construction of the third FDI-type frigate, which is part of the French fleet modernization program. The shipment of the sections departed from Greece on August 28, 2026, bound for the Naval Group facilities in France.
The successful completion of this project confirms the technical competence of Greek shipyards and their ability to participate in demanding international defense programs. The collaboration with the French group Naval Group strengthens Greece's role in the field of shipbuilding technology.
The construction of these sections requires high precision and specialized expertise, elements that highlight the quality of the work carried out at the Salamis facilities. This collaboration is expected to continue, further strengthening the ties between the Greek industry and European defense programs.
