200 million euro investment by Lidl Hellas for 2026-2027
Lidl Hellas has announced a significant investment plan of 200 million euros for the 2026-2027 period. This move aims at the further development of the supermarket chain's presence in the Greek market.
A central pillar of the plan is the expansion of its store network into new areas. The company seeks to get closer to consumers by increasing its points of sale throughout the country.
In addition to opening new stores, a large portion of the funds will be allocated to the modernization of existing infrastructure. The goal is to upgrade the customer experience and improve store functionality through the use of modern technologies.
With this investment, Lidl Hellas strengthens its position in the retail sector in Greece. The initiative is also expected to contribute to the creation of new jobs and the stimulation of the local economy over the coming years.
