Strengthening the Armed Forces with new unmanned aerial vehicles
Significant reinforcement is expected for the Greek Armed Forces in the coming period, as the Ministry of National Defense proceeds with the modernization of its equipment. At the center of the planning is the integration of modern technology for the better surveillance and protection of the country.
According to the official schedule, two Patroller-type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems are set to arrive in Greece at the end of September. In total, these are four aircraft that will be immediately integrated into the assets of the Army Aviation.
These specific UAV systems are considered particularly useful for modern defense needs, as they offer capabilities for continuous surveillance and intelligence gathering. Their use is expected to upgrade the operational capabilities of the Greek forces in various fields.
The acquisition of these assets is part of a broader ministry plan to upgrade technological equipment. The goal is to strengthen the country's deterrent power through the utilization of new technologies that respond to the challenges of our time.
