Emergency child allowance: New round of 150-euro payments by the end of August
Thousands of families in Greece are expected to receive significant financial support in the coming days. According to official announcements, a new round of payments for the emergency child allowance, amounting to 150 euros, is scheduled to be completed by August 31.
This specific measure is part of the government's policy to support households facing financial difficulties. The allowance aims to cover the basic needs of children and alleviate the family budget during the summer period.
Beneficiaries do not need to take any new actions or submit applications, as the payment process is carried out automatically by OPEKA. The funds will be credited directly to the beneficiaries' bank accounts, following the procedure applied in previous allowance payments.
Interested citizens can stay informed about the status of their payment through the official OPEKA website or the gov.gr platform, using their personal login credentials. The disbursement of funds is expected to be fully completed for all beneficiaries by the last day of August.
