New 14.3 million euro funding program for Greek civil society
The new "EEA Civil Society Fund Greece" program, which aims to strengthen civil society in our country, has officially launched. With a total budget of 14.3 million euros, this initiative seeks to support organizations working for the common good and the promotion of democratic values.
The program is funded by the European Economic Area (EEA) and represents a significant opportunity for non-governmental organizations in Greece. These resources will be allocated for the implementation of actions concerning human rights, social inclusion, and the protection of vulnerable population groups.
Interested organizations will have the opportunity to submit proposals for projects that have a direct impact on local communities. The goal of the organizers is to strengthen the role of citizens in decision-making and to create new bridges of communication between organizations and the state.
The program will be managed through transparent procedures, ensuring that the funds reach actions with meaningful results. This initiative is expected to breathe new life into many areas of social activity, encouraging volunteerism and the active participation of citizens in public affairs.
