Greece Race for the Cure® returns: Registration is now open for the major event
The Greece Race for the Cure®, the established sports event dedicated to raising awareness about breast cancer, has announced its return for the 18th consecutive year. The organizers confirmed that the race will take place on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2026.
The event will start at Pedion tou Areos in Athens, a venue that has hosted the event in the past. It is one of the most important road races in the country, combining sports with social contribution and public awareness.
Registration for this year's event is now open to the public. Those interested can register through the official event website, choosing between the different routes offered for runners and walkers of all ages.
The goal of the race remains to strengthen support programs for women who have been affected by the disease, as well as to promote prevention and early diagnosis. Every year, thousands of citizens participate in the initiative, sending a powerful message of hope and solidarity throughout Greece.
