Preparations for the TIF: Kyriakos Mitsotakis' tour in Northern Greece
Preparations by the government are intensive ahead of the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF). Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is conducting an important double tour in Northern Greece, with the aim of examining the progress of projects in the region and speaking with local stakeholders.
The first stop of the visit is Thessaloniki, where the Prime Minister will hold meetings regarding the development of the city's major infrastructure. The government is placing particular emphasis on projects currently underway, as the co-capital is a pivotal point for the country's development.
At the same time, Mr. Mitsotakis will visit Western Macedonia. In this region, the focus is on issues of energy transition and the local economy, as the government seeks to support local communities during the transition to new forms of energy.
This tour is considered particularly critical, as it takes place just before the Prime Minister's speech at the TIF. In his speech, the main pillars of government policy for the coming period are expected to be presented, as well as economic support measures for citizens.
Overall, the Prime Minister's visit to Northern Greece underscores the importance the government places on regional development. These meetings will form the basis for the announcements that will be made from the podium of the Thessaloniki International Fair in the coming days.
