Significant partnership for Greek technology: Pollux Tech selects Prisma Electronics
A new significant partnership in the high-tech sector was recently announced in Greece. The Greek startup company Pollux Tech has selected Prisma Electronics for the manufacturing of the first prototypes of the ASOS (Autonomous System of Overboard Safety) system.
The ASOS system is an innovative technology designed to enhance maritime safety. It is an autonomous system aimed at protecting people in cases of falling overboard, offering immediate response and assistance.
The selection of Prisma Electronics, a company with extensive experience in the field of electronic systems, represents a major step for the development of the project. This collaboration combines the innovation of Pollux Tech with the technical expertise of Prisma Electronics, enabling the production of the first test models.
This development strengthens Greece's role in the 'deep-tech' and maritime technology sector. The successful manufacturing of the prototypes will be the next critical stage for the completion of the system and its potential future application on ships and recreational vessels.
