Critical Cabinet meeting: Cost of living and the new school year in focus
The Cabinet will meet on Monday under the Prime Minister, with the agenda including critical issues that directly concern Greek society. The government is called upon to make decisions to address the cost of living, which continues to put pressure on households, as well as to improve coordination between ministries ahead of the autumn.
One of the key topics of the discussion is the preparation for the new school year. The relevant ministers will examine measures for the smooth start of classes in schools, ensuring that students and teachers have all the necessary resources for the teaching process.
At the same time, the progress of the "Greece 2.0" plan, which concerns the utilization of European funds from the Recovery and Resilience Facility, will be on the table. The goal is to accelerate projects that will strengthen the economy, the digitalization of the state, and the country's infrastructure.
Finally, the meeting will cover issues of spatial planning, which are decisive for development and environmental protection. The government seeks to lay the foundations for more organized land management in order to promote new investments while respecting the law.
This meeting is considered particularly important, as it marks the return to full government activity after the summer period. The decisions to be taken are expected to determine the government's priorities for the coming months.
