More frequent routes for the Athens Tram starting Monday
Significant changes to citizens' commutes are being brought about by the new operational plan for the Athens Tram. Starting Monday, September 7, passengers will see more routes being operated daily across the network.
The main goal of this decision is to better serve the traveling public. With the increase in routes, waiting times at stops are expected to decrease noticeably, thereby facilitating the commutes of the capital's residents.
This move is part of the transport authorities' efforts to improve the quality of the services provided. More frequent train passages are expected to decongest the stops, especially during peak hours.
Passengers are advised to check for the new schedules on the official transport websites. These changes represent a positive step toward strengthening fixed-track transport in Athens.
