Greece supports European technology through the ETCI 2.0 initiative
Greece is officially participating in a new major European initiative aimed at strengthening technology companies in Europe. This is the ETCI 2.0 program, which is being implemented through the European Investment Bank and aims to foster innovation across the entire continent.
The primary goal of this initiative is to mobilize $80 billion in capital. These funds will be directed to more than 1,500 high-growth technology companies, helping them expand and become more competitive on a global scale.
Our country's participation in this program represents a strategic move for the Greek startup ecosystem. Through access to these European funds, Greek technology companies will have the opportunity to secure the financing they need to develop their products and services.
With this move, the European Union seeks to reduce its dependence on foreign markets in the technology sector. Supporting European businesses is considered essential for Europe's economic stability and technological independence in the coming years.
