Diplomatic tour by Nikos Dendias to Qatar and Australia
The Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, has begun an important diplomatic tour that includes visits to Qatar and Australia. This trip is taking place from Tuesday to Friday, July 17, with the aim of strengthening Greece's international relations.
On the first day of his visit, Mr. Dendias is expected to meet with officials in Qatar. These talks are considered particularly important for the cooperation between the two countries on defense and security issues in the wider region.
Following this, the Minister will travel to Australia. This visit is part of the Greek government's strategy to develop strong ties with countries where the Greek diaspora lives and operates, as well as to promote defense diplomacy.
Mr. Dendias's tour underscores Greece's active role on the international stage. Through these contacts, the country seeks to upgrade its relations with strategic partners, while simultaneously strengthening its presence at a global level.
