Tour of the Ministry of Health leadership in Evros and Xanthi
The leadership of the Ministry of Health recently conducted an official tour in the regions of Evros and Xanthi. The goal of the visit was to record the needs of local health facilities on-site and to improve the services provided to the citizens of Greece's border regions.
During the tour, particular emphasis was placed on the Dikaia Health Center. This specific unit is a critical pillar for the region, as it serves more than 6,000 residents. The Center's work also includes supporting the four Regional Clinics operating in the wider area.
Ministry representatives spoke with the medical and nursing staff, listening to the problems they face on a daily basis. Strengthening human resources and upgrading medical equipment were set as priorities for the smooth operation of the facilities.
This visit is part of a broader government effort to strengthen the National Health System in remote areas. The purpose is to ensure equal access to quality health services for all citizens, regardless of their place of residence.
