Turmoil in Rome: Horses ran free on a central avenue
An unusual and dangerous incident occurred last night in Rome. Five people were injured when a group of horses escaped control and began running on one of the central avenues of the Italian capital.
The animals were suddenly found among cars, causing great panic among drivers and passers-by. According to initial information, the horses were running at high speed, which made the situation very difficult for those who were on the road at that time.
The five injured were taken to the hospital to receive first aid. Most of them were injured in their attempt to stop the horses or to protect themselves from them. Fortunately, their health condition is not considered critical, although the shock was great.
Police and special teams quickly arrived at the scene to contain the animals. After some time and with the help of experts, they managed to catch the horses and transport them to a safe place, away from vehicle traffic.
Rome authorities are now investigating exactly how the horses managed to escape and who their owner is. This incident highlights the need for stricter security measures when animals are near populated areas with heavy traffic.
