Andreas Mikroutsikos is one of the most recognizable faces of Greek television, with a long career in the field. Due to his popularity, his health status is often a topic of discussion in the media, a fact that frequently leads to the spread of inaccurate news.
The presenter's family urged the public and journalists to trust only official announcements. At the same time, they emphasized that such reports cause distress to his loved ones without any real reason.
This incident highlights once again the importance of verifying information before publishing it. Protecting the private lives of public figures remains a critical issue for media ethics in Greece.
