Loutraki welcomes the UCI Gran Fondo World Cycling Championship once again
Loutraki is preparing to become the center of the global cycling community once again. On Sunday, November 1, 2026, the city will host the international UCI Gran Fondo race for the second consecutive year, an event that attracts athletes from all over the world.
The choice of Loutraki for this event is no coincidence, as the area offers ideal routes and infrastructure for demanding road cycling races. Participants will have the opportunity to compete in a landscape of particular natural beauty, combining sports with the promotion of the Greek region.
The UCI Gran Fondo race is part of a series of global events that give amateur and professional cyclists the opportunity to test their endurance at a high level. Last year's success of the event played a decisive role in the decision for the institution to return to Greece.
The local community and tourism stakeholders are looking forward to the event with interest, as the race is expected to bring many visitors to the area. The event strengthens sports tourism in our country and highlights Loutraki as an important destination for major international sports meetings.
