Greece Race for the Cure returns: Registration is now open for the major event
The Greece Race for the Cure®, the well-known athletic and social event for breast cancer awareness, returns dynamically for the 18th consecutive year. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2026.
The central meeting point for participants will be Pedion tou Areos in Athens, which will serve as the starting point for both the race and the walk. The event has now become an institution for the city, bringing together thousands of citizens who wish to send a powerful message of hope and solidarity.
Those interested can already proceed with their registration, as the platform is now open to the public. Participation in the race is not just an athletic activity, but also practical support for women fighting their own battle with the disease, as the proceeds significantly bolster the work of patient associations.
The organizers invite people to register early to ensure the smooth conduct of the two-day event. With its return to Pedion tou Areos, the Greece Race for the Cure® promises once again to unite society for a common cause, promoting prevention and health awareness.
