Dendias takes aim at Turkey over International Law

The Greek Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, made statements regarding the challenges currently facing the international community. At the center of his criticism was Ankara's stance, which he accused of attempting to challenge the rules governing relations between states.

According to Mr. Dendias, International Law is the civilized world's only option for the peaceful resolution of any dispute. However, the Minister stressed that we are going through a difficult period, where certain countries are adopting authoritarian views, attempting to change the established framework of international relations.

The Greek official underlined that such practices create a "dystopian" world, which threatens security and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean region. Greece, as he stated, remains committed to respecting international treaties and the law of the sea.

These statements come at a time when diplomatic relations between Greece and Turkey remain sensitive. The Greek side insists that dialogue must be based exclusively on the rules recognized by the global community, rejecting any attempt to impose a fait accompli.
