“Rebrain Greece” Initiative: Opportunities for Greeks abroad to return
A significant new initiative called “Rebrain Greece” is launching with the goal of bringing Greeks working abroad back to their homeland. This action focuses on attracting specialized professionals by offering them new employment prospects in the Greek labor market.
Within the framework of the initiative, special events are being organized, the most recent of which took place in Munich, Germany. There, Greek businesses were given the opportunity to come into direct contact with talented Greeks living and working in Germany, presenting available high-skilled job positions.
Businesses participating in the initiative have the opportunity to meet candidates with significant experience and knowledge up close, thereby strengthening their human resources. On the other hand, Greeks abroad are informed about working conditions in Greece and the professional development opportunities now offered in their country.
The “Rebrain Greece” initiative represents an important step in addressing the “brain drain” phenomenon, i.e., the exodus of young scientists abroad. The goal is to create a stable communication channel between the Greek market and Greeks who wish to return, thus contributing to the country's economic development.
