Greece at the top of Europe for AI use among young people
Greece ranks first in Europe regarding the use of artificial intelligence by young people. According to recent data, Greek pupils and students use these new digital tools more than any other European country. This development shows a significant shift in the way the younger generation approaches technology and learning.
More specifically, 84% of young people in Greece use artificial intelligence tools in their daily lives. This percentage is the highest in the European Union, a fact that has made a positive impression on technology experts. Young people use this technology primarily to find information, resolve queries, and organize their studies more quickly.
The Ministry of Education is closely monitoring these developments and has already launched actions to integrate technology into schools. A pilot program is already being implemented in 20 of the country's middle schools, where ChatGPT is used as an auxiliary tool in the classroom. In this way, students learn to use artificial intelligence correctly and safely under the guidance of their teachers.
The goal of these initiatives is to prepare students for the demands of the modern labor market. Although the use of artificial intelligence brings new challenges, Greece seems to be pioneering digital education. The country is investing in the skills of young people, offering them the necessary tools to evolve in a constantly changing world.
