New international master's program at the University of Ioannina on sustainability
A significant initiative for higher education in Greece was recently announced at the University of Ioannina. It involves the creation of a new, international joint master's program titled "One Health Education for Global Sustainability."
The Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Sofia Zacharaki, attended the program's presentation event. During her speech, she emphasized the importance of extroversion for Greek public universities, highlighting that the country is systematically investing in innovative academic actions.
The "One Health" program focuses on the connection between the health of humans, animals, and the environment, recognizing that global sustainability depends on the balance of these three sectors. Through international cooperation, students will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge that addresses modern global challenges.
This initiative strengthens the role of the University of Ioannina on the international academic map. The goal is to attract students from all over the world and exchange expertise, promoting a more modern and open image of Greek education.
