Labour Department to Organise Occupational Safety Training Courses to Enhance Workplace Safety Awareness
The Occupational Safety and Health Training Centre of the Labour Department recently announced that it will organise a series of occupational safety and health training courses from July to September 2026. The primary objective of these courses is to strengthen employees' understanding of workplace safety and reduce the occurrence of work accidents through professional training.
The training courses cover a wide range of important occupational safety areas. Participants will learn about relevant laws and regulations, risk assessments of the work environment, and practical techniques for preventing occupational injuries and diseases. This knowledge will help employees identify potential hazards more effectively in their daily work and take appropriate preventive measures.
The Labour Department pointed out that occupational safety is a subject that every industry must value. Whether they are frontline staff or management, everyone should possess basic safety knowledge. Through continuous education and training, enterprises can establish a healthier operating environment, which not only protects the lives and safety of employees but also helps enhance the company's overall image and work efficiency.
Enrollment for these courses is now open. The Labour Department calls on employees from all walks of life to participate actively and work together to improve the level of occupational safety in Hong Kong. Interested individuals can visit the Labour Department's official website or contact the Occupational Safety and Health Training Centre for detailed course information and application procedures.
