The 53rd Medical Students' Cup was held in Pécs
Between April 9 and 11, Pécs hosted the 53rd Medical Students' Cup. At this prestigious sporting event, students from the country's medical universities measured their skills against one another in various sports.
The team from the host institution, the University of Pécs Medical School, also participated in the competition. The Pécs students delivered an excellent performance and were ultimately able to stand on the second step of the podium at the closing ceremony.
In addition to the team from Pécs, teams from the medical universities of Budapest and Szeged were also represented at the event. The goal of the tournament was not only to engage in sports but also to strengthen connections between medical students arriving from different cities.
The Medical Students' Cup has a long history and is an important community event for medical students every year. The competition hosted by Pécs concluded successfully, and the participants made the three-day meeting memorable with their sportsmanlike conduct.
