Political tension: Péter Magyar demands the resignation of the President
A new political conflict has emerged in Hungary between the head of government and the head of state. Prime Minister Péter Magyar has sharply criticized President Tamás Sulyok and is demanding his resignation from office.
The Prime Minister claims that the President has not performed his duties adequately over the past few years. Péter Magyar alleges that Tamás Sulyok turned a blind eye to alleged abuses that occurred during the previous government period, and therefore no longer enjoys his confidence.
President Tamás Sulyok, however, has firmly rejected the accusations. The President stated that he has no intention of resigning and remains committed to his position. According to him, the presidential office is independent of daily political struggles.
This situation is causing serious tension in Hungarian political life. Experts believe that the dispute between the two leaders could impact government work and public opinion in the coming months.
Further developments in the case remain uncertain for now. Both Hungarian voters and political analysts are closely monitoring how the relationship between the Prime Minister and the President will evolve in the near future.
