Pécs medical student team finishes in second place at the Medical Cup
The 53rd Medical Cup was held between April 9 and 11, with the city of Pécs serving as this year's host. At the prestigious sporting event, students from the country's medical universities measured their skills against one another in various sports.
The team from the University of Pécs Medical School performed excellently in the competition held on home turf. After tough battles, the Pécs students ultimately secured a distinguished second place in the overall standings.
In addition to the Pécs team, squads from the medical universities of Budapest and Szeged also participated in the event. The goal of the competition was not only to engage in sports but also to strengthen connections among medical students and support community life.
The Medical Cup has a long history and is an important event every year for young people participating in Hungarian medical education. The organizers in Pécs successfully carried out the three-day program, which provided numerous sporting experiences for participants and fans alike.
