Today is World PR Day: Representatives of the profession are celebrating in Hungary as well
July 16th is celebrated worldwide as World PR Day, or Public Relations Day. This initiative was launched five years ago with the aim of drawing attention to the importance and social role of the communications profession.
World PR Day has now become a global event, joined by tens of thousands of professionals around the world. The purpose of the day is to showcase the power of public relations and how the profession helps build trust between organizations and people.
In Hungary, many agencies and communications experts have also joined the initiative. The domestic professional community is drawing attention to how essential authentic information and open communication are in today's modern world through various programs and professional discussions.
According to experts, the role of PR has changed significantly in recent years with the development of digital technologies. Today, it is not only traditional media relations that are important, but also the effective management of social media and online platforms, through which companies and institutions can reach their audiences directly.
On the occasion of this year's World Day, representatives of the profession are reminding us that the foundation of good communication is transparency and ethical operation. The goal of the events on July 16th is therefore not only celebration, but also the promotion of professional development and collective thinking.
