Change in OTP's mobile banking: the 'Savings Jar' feature is being discontinued

The financial institution announced that the popular "Savings Jar" (Persely) feature available in its mobile application will no longer be available in the future. Until now, the service allowed users to set aside money for specific purposes and track their savings more easily.
With the help of the Savings Jar feature, customers could create up to five different jars at once, into which they could collect money for specific goals. For many, this solution made everyday finances and small savings more transparent.
According to the bank's statement, the phasing out of the feature is part of the development of its digital services. OTP Bank's goal is to offer more modern and efficient tools for financial planning to its customers in the future, which is why the current solution is being replaced by a new system.
