Hungary lagging behind in industrial robotization
An international ranking on the prevalence of industrial robots has revealed that Hungary is at a significant disadvantage compared to the world leaders. At the top of the list are technological powerhouses such as South Korea, Singapore, and Germany, where the rate of mechanization in factories is already extremely high.
According to the latest data, not only the world's most developed countries but also neighboring regional states are developing faster in this area than Hungary. Experts believe that the lack of robotization could have a long-term impact on the competitiveness of Hungarian industry and the growth of productivity.
The use of industrial robots is crucial in modern economies, as these machines increase manufacturing precision and reduce problems caused by labor shortages. In developed countries, robots now play a fundamental role not only in the automotive industry but also in logistics and electronics manufacturing.
Hungary is currently positioned in the lower regions of the list, which indicates that domestic companies need further developments and investments to catch up. In the future, supporting technological modernization could be decisive for the success of the Hungarian economy.
