Foreign travel is once again popular among Hungarians
Since June, interest in foreign travel has increased significantly in Hungary. With the start of the summer season, many have decided to spend their vacations abroad, which has brought about a revival in the tourism market.
According to experts, several economic and political factors are behind this trend. One of the most important reasons is the development of the euro exchange rate, which is currently hovering around 350 forints. This more stable exchange rate makes spending abroad more predictable for Hungarian travelers.
In addition, the international situation has also become more favorable in the eyes of travelers. Previous war-related concerns regarding Iran have subsided, which has increased people's sense of security. The calmer global environment has encouraged many to choose foreign destinations for their holidays once again.
Players in the tourism sector are optimistic about the remainder of the season. The number of bookings shows that Hungarians are once again happy to travel beyond the borders, taking advantage of the more favorable conditions and the opportunity for a summer break.
