On-site judging for the Flowery Hungary competition has begun
The popular Flowery Hungary environmental beautification competition has set off once again this year. The organizing committee and experts from Visit Hungary have begun the on-site evaluation of the municipalities to find the country's most beautiful and flowery communities.
The goal of the competition has remained unchanged for years: to beautify living environments, increase environmental awareness, and strengthen community cooperation. The members of the jury are visiting various parts of the country to personally inspect the results achieved by the municipalities and their efforts in floral decoration.
This year, the organizers will announce winners in a total of five different categories. When creating the categories, the size and nature of the settlements were taken into account, ensuring that both smaller villages and larger cities can compete with equal chances.
During the on-site visits, the experts will not only examine flower gardens and public spaces but will also evaluate sustainability aspects. The jury pays attention to the maintenance of green areas, eco-friendly solutions, and the involvement of the local population.
The results of the competition will be announced during the autumn. The awarded municipalities will receive recognition, which can contribute to the development of local tourism and increase the pride of the residents.
