The RSM team won the 58th Kékszalag sailing race
One of the most important sporting events on Lake Balaton, the 58th Kékszalag Raiffeisen Grand Prix, was held again this year. Hundreds of boats set off in the race to battle the lake's waves and changeable wind conditions.
The victory was secured by the RSM team, helmed by Róbert Vándor. The boat performed excellently and was the first to cross the finish line, thereby securing first place in the prestigious competition.
The Kékszalag is Europe's longest lake sailing race, which receives great attention from sports enthusiasts every year. Competitors must cover more than 150 kilometers between Balatonfüred and Keszthely, while tactics and technical preparation play a decisive role.
The winning team's success once again drew attention to Hungarian sailing. The perseverance of the competitors and the technical condition of the boats were key to success in the high heat and challenging conditions.
The awards ceremony was held in Balatonfüred in accordance with tradition. The organizers were satisfied with the turnout and are already preparing for next year's competition, which is expected to attract thousands of sailors to the shores of Lake Balaton once again.
