Spotify's audiobook service will soon be available in Hungary as well
The popular music streaming platform, Spotify, has announced a significant change. According to the company's plans, they will expand their audiobook service, which has previously been available only in a limited number of markets, to a total of 180 countries by the end of 2026.
This development is also good news for Hungarian users, as the service is planned to be launched in our country as well. Spotify's goal is to make literary content easily accessible to listeners worldwide, alongside music and podcasts.
Although the exact date has not yet been announced, the company is continuously working on building the technical background. In the future, users will be able to choose between music and audiobooks within a single application, which will make content consumption more convenient.
With this step, Spotify aims to become a dominant player in the global audiobook market as well. Thanks to the expansion, Hungarian readers and listeners will also soon be able to enjoy the platform's latest feature, which opens up new possibilities for fans of digital books.
