Hungary is the favorite destination for Austrian tourists
According to a recent tourism analysis, Hungary is one of the most attractive destinations for Austrian travelers. Experts say that in addition to the proximity of the two countries and the quality of services, prices also play a key role in the decision.
The research points out that a holiday in Hungary is particularly favorable for Austrian guests. During a trip to Lake Balaton, tourists' money is worth an average of 25 percent more than if they were to use the same service in their own country.
This price-to-value ratio represents a significant advantage for the Hungarian tourism sector. In addition to the more favorable prices, guests also appreciate the standard of Hungarian accommodations and the programs available around the lake.
The presence of Austrian tourists is important for the Hungarian economy, as they make up one of the largest groups of foreign guests at Lake Balaton. Experts expect that many will choose Hungary again next season due to the favorable costs.
