The 53rd Medical Cup was held in Pécs
Between April 9 and 11, Pécs hosted the 53rd Medical Cup, where medical students from across the country measured their knowledge and athletic performance. The prestigious event also featured a team from the host institution, the University of Pécs Medical School.
Students from the medical universities of Budapest, Szeged, and Debrecen were also represented at the three-day sports competition. Participants competed in various sports to determine which institution's team would be the most successful this year.
The medical students from Pécs performed excellently on their home turf, ultimately securing a distinguished second place in the competition. The team's performance earned recognition from both the participants and the organizers.
The Medical Cup is not only about sports but also about community building, as it creates an opportunity for future doctors studying in different parts of the country to meet. The Pécs event concluded successfully, strengthening professional and friendly ties among the university students.
