Hungarian tourist attractions promoted in Italy
A professional meeting was held in Verona, Italy, organized by Visit Hungary. The goal of the event was to showcase Hungary's tourism opportunities to Italian tour operators and to strengthen professional ties between the two countries.
The workshop was attended by 14 Hungarian tourism service providers who are members of the Priority Partner Program. They held discussions with a total of 36 Italian travel agencies and experts regarding future cooperation opportunities.
One of the most important objectives of the meeting was to draw the attention of foreign tourists not only to Budapest but also to Hungarian regions outside the capital. According to the organizers, there are many attractions in the country that could be appealing to Italian travelers.
The Italian market is of key importance for Hungarian tourism, as the number of guests arriving from there is significant year after year. The event in Verona may contribute to even more Italian tourists visiting Hungary's various rural landscapes and cities in the future.
