New feature in the DÁP application: we can now sign official contracts from home
A significant update has arrived for the Digital Citizenship Program (DÁP) mobile application. Users can now utilize a built-in electronic signature feature, which greatly simplifies everyday administrative tasks.
Thanks to this innovation, Hungarian citizens can enter into contracts from home without the need for personal appearances. This solution can be particularly useful when requesting utility services, such as electricity, gas, or water connections.
The process is simple and secure: the signed document is sent directly to the service provider, eliminating the need for paper-based administration. With this development, the state aims to make official processes faster and more convenient for the public.
The DÁP application is continuously expanding with new features to ensure that digital administration becomes available in as many areas as possible. The newly introduced e-Signature is planned to be used for additional services in the future, further reducing the time spent at customer service centers.
