Technology Minister meets humanoid robots in Szombathely
Technology Minister Zoltán Tanács paid an important professional visit to Szombathely. The central theme of the event was the relationship between modern technology and human communication, with particular regard to the future role of humanoid robots in our everyday lives.
During the visit, the minister met in person with Ameca, one of the most advanced humanoid robots. The purpose of the meeting was for experts to examine how these machines are able to communicate with humans in a natural way and how they might assist society in the future.
Zoltán Tanács highlighted that the development of robotics no longer plays a key role only in industrial production. The technology is increasingly appearing in the service sector and education as well, which opens up new opportunities for Hungary in the field of digital development.
According to experts, similar technological demonstrations help the public to get a closer look at how artificial intelligence works. The ministry's goal is for Hungary to keep pace with international innovation trends and to support projects that put technological development at the service of people.
