Hungary's performance improves in global innovation ranking
According to the latest Global Innovation Index (GII) data, Hungary has moved up in the international rankings. The country currently holds 32nd place in terms of innovation output, which represents a one-place improvement compared to last year.
The innovation index measures how effectively individual countries use their resources to create new ideas and technologies. Hungarian results show that the domestic research and development sector is operating with increasing efficiency and is capable of keeping pace with international trends.
According to experts, the improvement is driven by support for scientific research and the energy invested in technological developments. The 32nd-place ranking strengthens Hungary's position in the Central European region and indicates that the efforts dedicated to innovation are also making their impact felt in the economy.
Although the results are encouraging, competition in the global market remains very strong. The future goal is for Hungary to secure an even more prominent position in the knowledge-based economy and to further increase the international recognition of domestic innovations.
