Design of new water retention systems begins in several regions of Hungary

Important developments are starting in Hungarian water management, aimed at improving the water balance of natural areas. Experts are planning to build new water retention systems from the Szigetköz region all the way to the Nyírség to more effectively manage changing climatic conditions and periods of drought.

During the work, special attention will be paid to the Homokhátság region, where increasing water catchment capacity is essential for the agricultural and ecological stability of the area. According to the plans, Turbo Tech Hungary Kft. will carry out developments in the Tiszaalpár area that will contribute to the preservation of local water resources.

In parallel, a program aimed at saving the Hajdúhátság region has also been launched. According to experts, modern water retention solutions can help keep water that falls during wetter periods in the soil, thus ensuring the moisture necessary for crop production even in drier months.

The long-term goal of the project is to improve the efficiency of water management in various regions of the country. After the successful completion of the design process, construction can begin according to the needs of the areas, which represents a significant step in protecting Hungarian landscapes against water scarcity.
