The 53rd Medical Cup was held in Pécs
Between April 9 and 11, Pécs hosted the 53rd Medical Cup, one of the most important sporting events for medical students in the country. At the competition, teams from the medical universities of Budapest, Szeged, and Pécs measured their skills in various sports.
The team from the host University of Pécs Medical School performed excellently during the three-day event. At the end of the tough battles, the Pécs students secured a prestigious second place in the highly regarded competition.
The Medical Cup is not only about sports but also about community building. The goal of the event is for future doctors arriving from different cities to get to know each other and strengthen professional relationships in a friendly, athletic environment.
According to the organizers, the event in Pécs was a success, and participants are already preparing for next year's competition. The sporting event once again proved that Hungarian medical students are capable of outstanding performance not only in their studies but also on the sports field.
