Pécs medical student team finishes in second place at the 53rd Medic Cup
Between April 9 and 11, Pécs hosted the 53rd Medic Cup, one of the most prestigious domestic sporting events for medical students. At the competition, students from the medical universities of Budapest, Szeged, and Pécs tested their skills in various sports.
The team from the Faculty of Medicine at the host University of Pécs performed excellently during the three-day event. After tough battles, the Pécs students ultimately secured a distinguished second place in the prestigious competition.
The Medic Cup is not just about sports; it is also about community building and deepening relationships between university students from different cities. Every year, the event provides an opportunity for future doctors to prove their perseverance and team spirit on the sports field alongside their studies.
According to the organizers and participants, this year's event in Pécs was a success and further strengthened the professional and friendly ties between Hungary's medical training centers. Next year, the students are preparing for the competition with renewed vigor to showcase their talents once again.
