Pécs medical student team wins silver medal at the 53rd Medic Cup
The 53rd Medic Cup was held between April 9 and 11, with Pécs serving as this year's host. At the prestigious sporting event, students from the country's medical universities competed against each other in various sports.
The team from the University of Pécs Medical School performed excellently on their home turf. At the end of the tough competition, the Pécs students secured an honorable second place.
The Medic Cup is not only about sports but also about community building. The goal of the event is to strengthen the connection between medical students from Budapest, Szeged, Debrecen, and Pécs, while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
During the three-day event, participants were able to prove themselves in several sports, while fans enthusiastically supported their university's team. The organizers in Pécs considered the competition a success, as it once again brought together many young medical students.
