The 53rd Medical Cup was held in Pécs
Between April 9th and 11th, Pécs hosted the 53rd Medical Cup, where Hungarian medical students measured their knowledge and athletic performance. In addition to the host, the University of Pécs, teams from the medical faculties of Budapest and Szeged were also represented at the prestigious event.
During the three-day sports competition, participants competed against each other in various sports. The goal of the event was not only competition, but also community building and strengthening connections among the doctors of the future.
The team from the University of Pécs Medical School performed excellently on their home turf. At the end of the hard-fought battles, the Pécs team stood on the second step of the podium, finishing the tournament with a silver medal.
The event concluded successfully, and both the organizers and participants were satisfied with the standard of the competition. The tradition will continue in the coming years, providing medical students with the opportunity for sports and relaxation alongside their studies.
