Eger women's water polo team becomes European champion
The Hungarian women's water polo sport has achieved a massive success: the Békafütty-Kling Hungary team has secured the European Championship title in the masters category. At the prestigious international tournament, the team consisting of players from Eger delivered an excellent performance and marched confidently toward victory throughout the event.
The Hungarian team remained undefeated throughout the competition, which well demonstrates the players' preparation and team unity. The most exciting moment of the tournament was the final match, where the Hungarian ladies had to prove their skills in a very tight contest.
In the final, Békafütty-Kling Hungary defeated their opponent with a score of 9–8. The match remained open until the very last moment, but the Hungarian team stayed calm in the decisive situations, ultimately allowing them to lift the trophy.
