Do not consume this product: Recall for Lay's chips
PepsiCo Nederland announced the recall of several types of Bugles and Wokkels chips under the Lay's brand from Dutch markets after discovering the presence of non-food-grade mineral oil inside the bags.
The company clarified that this oil may pose long-term health risks, which is why it decided to withdraw the products as a precautionary measure, urging consumers not to consume them.
The recalled products include: Wokkels in paprika and natural flavors, and Bugles in natural and nacho/cheese flavors, in various sizes. The expiration dates for the affected products are: August 16, 23, and 30, and September 6, 13, 20, and 27, as well as October 4.
These chips have been sold in stores such as Jumbo and Boon's Markt. The company advises consumers who purchased these products not to consume them, and they can get their money back by contacting the manufacturer.
